US actor DiCaprio attends climate rally tinted with anti-Trump hue

US actor Leonardo DiCaprio has attended climate change march, joining indigenous people from North and South America.

US actor Leonardo DiCaprio has attended climate change rally in Washington DC, marching alongside indigenous people from North and South America.
Media reported that the actor who is also known for his environmental activism showed his protest to global warming by making an appearance at the Climate Change March, a major activist event against climate change.

Holding a small sign in red and green that read “Climate Change Is Real,” the US actor joined thousands marching in protest of Trump‘s enviromental policies, including his rollback of limitations on mining, oil drilling and greenhouse gas emissions.

“Honored to join Indigenous leaders and native peoples as they fight for climate justice. Join me in standing with them. #ClimateMarch,” DiCaprio, 42, said in a tweet referring to his appearance in the march.

Several sister rallies were also held in other US states as well as across the world. The marchers highlighted the role of Trump policies in deteriorating the environmental issues.
